Who doesn't like a little bit of grunge? The Sleigh Bells are a music group that combined both elements of both pop and grungy rock into one creating something amazing. I can't remember the first time I heard these guys it would of had to have been ages ago because I have them on myspace (which is ancient). They're playing at BDO (Big Day Out) next year which is so exciting.
The way they utilize the vocals by making them distorted is amazing. Many bands are starting to do this such as Crystal Castles. It has also influenced my music which you will hopefully be able to hear soon. Some of their songs have featured on top shows such as gossip girls.
The use of catchy riffs and heavy rhythms gets you really hooked on their songs. The band has a unique and different sound like none I have really ever heard.
